Words of Encouragement (Palabras de Ánimo) #1

English

Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parached land.

Psalm 68:5-6, ESV

The people of Israel had been enslaved by the Egyptians, but God heard their cries—He heard their prayers—and He came down from heaven to rescue them and lead them accross the desert. Our God hears us when we cry to Him; He hears us when we pray. And, not only does He hear us, but He also answers our prayers.

Are you fatherless? Cry to God. Are you a widow? Pray to God. Are you a prisoner—a prisoner of war, a prisoner of sickness, a prisoner of sin, a prisoner of trauma—cry to God, pray to the one who hears. He is our Savior.

Those who do not cry will not be heard. Those who do not pray will not receive an answer. Those who do not trust Him and obey Him will be left behind in a parched land. But those who trust Him, those who cry to Him, those who pray to Him, He will lead them through the desert to a land that flows with milk and honey.

Calme a Dios. ¿A quedado viuda? Ore a Dios.

Aquellos queno oran no recibirán respuesta.
